These running shoes are not waterproof like some other trail shoes are but when these get wet is doesn't affect your running. The water drains away quickly which means that your foot isn't sloshing around. They dry out very fast as well even on overcast days the shoes were dry by the time I was completed with most of my runs. The snow is also no problem in these shoes. They do not have insulation so some thicker socks are needed to keep the feet warm but the shoes perform very well around the slippery snow and ice.
Conclusion: Overall these running shoes have been excellent in my experience. I have been running on the consistently for around per month . 5 and have had no problems with them. If you are just beginning to run the trails I'd recommend this running shoe for you. The development is great and the fit is even better.
There are tons and a lot of athletic shoes currently available; everything from super cushioned shoes to ultra minimalist shoes. The Altra Lone Peak fits into the minimalist category but it's a different kind of minimalist shoe.
Background: A minimalist running footwear is a shoe that provides little support to your feet and allows you feet to operate the way they were meant to as shocks. When you run with a minimalist style shoe magista pas cher you are allowing you foot to start and absorb some of the shock while you run. You are also in a position to gather more feedback in the surface you are running on to be able to change your running style accordingly.
Review: As stated before the Altra Lone Peak is really a minimalist shoe but it's a trail minimalist shoe. As a trail running footwear it's designed to take the abuse of running off-road. These athletic shoes a really well suited for this. The Lone Peaks has a rock guard built into the only and lots of minimalist shoes do not have that. Jetski from rocks from coming up with the shoe and potentially injuring the feet. The little quantity of padding on the bottom also helps with rock protection.
